SHADES OF POLITICS

Shades of Politics comes from a brief that required us to create an informative piece of work that as a new graduate we would be proud to show to a possible employer.
My idea comes from the concept that the same colour could have different meanings in politics in different parts of the world, and from there I developed the idea of shades, meant as shady, that is sometimes connected to the idea of politics and politicians as well as colour. I thought that the best way to explain my concept was infographics and I created a series of six posters that treat both colours and political issues.
Poster that shows shades of blues in different parties in the world and what is the orientation of the party itself.

Poster that through the idea of the litmus test spectrum shows which countries lean more to the right, center or left.

Poster that shows shades of reds in different parties in the world and what is the orientation of the party itself.

Poster that lists through colour coding when certain countries will have their next election.

Poster that shows a worldwide comparison on the percentage of male and females in parliament.

Poster that represents through tie stripes the colour of the parties and the percentage of seats at the parliament of a set country.
