EN — In the exhibition Manipuline the viewer discovers various art works by the artists Escher, Vasarely, etc. in a very unique way. Visitors are sucked all the way into the optical illusion world through the interactive exhibition. We let them discover the visual deception behind each work of art to the hand of different tools. By letting the spectators walk around the works, letting them feel things, showing videos, ... They get to know the works from A to Z. So that they can go home without feeling cheated by our brain.
NL — In de tentoonstelling Manipuline ontdekt de toeschouwer diverse op art kunstwerken van de kunstenaars Escher, Vasarely, etc. op een heel unieke manier. De bezoekers worden helemaal in het optische illusie- wereldje gezogen door de interactieve tentoonstelling. We laten ze het visueel bedrog achter elk werk ontdekken aan de hand van verschillende tools. Door de toeschouwers rond de werken te laten lopen, dingen te laten voelen, filmpjes tonen, ...
Ze leren de werken van a tot z kennen. Zodat ze terug naar huis kunnen gaan zonder dat ze zich bedrogen voelen door ons brein.
