I experimented with evoking memories by engaging in acts that I associated with the person who used to perform them. My father, either with me or on his own, would often make models. I cut and twisted the plastic parts from the scaffolding that they came affixed to and began to wonder at all the things that could be held in place instead of the components to a ship. I considered what would be the component parts of my family.
