DEZINE [DEsign magaZINE] is a project for THD (Theory and History of Design) a first-year class, and one of my earliest editorial projects. The aim was to create a magazine where the goal was to pick one of several styles studied throughout the semester and publish an edition in A5 format focused on the subject.

I opted for the Swiss International Style as it favored so much of what I believed was the purpose of design. It was also one of my first runs playing around with grids.

The text in the magazine is in Portuguese.

For the index I chose big, strong, flat colors. The concept of pages was abandoned for academic purpose and the color was used for reference, in the top corners of the spreads, with a main and a secondary color, depending on section and chapter.
