John Woodward's profile

Olympus | Internal Branding & Minisite

As part of my Senior Seminar Advertising Pitch course at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, I worked with Olympus Corporation to develop an identity system to boost company morale and inspire pride in the work done at Olympus. This became one part of the "Do Something With Meaning" Campaign.

The secondary goal of the “Do Something With Meaning“ campaign was to increase current employee morale and involvement. We settled upon giving each department their own identity system, thereby allowing employees to rally around both Olympus and their department.

A minisite and blog, “Olympus Lens“ was also created to bridge the gap between employee experience and outside perception. The site featured current events and charitable efforts at Olympus, and also offered an overview of departments and careers at Olympus.

The posters and branding was extended to backgrounds for use on phones and computers.
The Olympus Lens minisite featured a blog of employee happenings and the experience at Olympus, charity spotlights, corporate information, and application for employment through the site.
