Title of the image: Flower Blooming - Bud
Technique used: Pencil drawing
This is the bud of a sunflower growing in the soil. Before painting, I observed the structure of the bud, the shape of the leaves, etc., and then I painted the shape of the bud. Reflecting on this, I felt that after finishing the painting, I didn't paint the shadows of the bud in this painting, so it resulted in the work not being vivid enough.
Title of the image: Flower Blooming - Burst Forth
Technique used: Pencil drawing
It took about ten days from bud to bloom, this is what I observed when the sunflower bloomed, regarding the reflection, I think this drawing would have been more vivid if it had been shaded.
Title of the image: Flower Blooming - Burst open
Technique used: Pencil drawing
From forth to open, the green foliage around the flowers becomes more abundant. Regarding reflection, I think it's the green leaves around the perimeter that make the flower look nice.

At this stage the bud is already open, I think this painting would be better if the middle part of the stamen could be drawn with layers and shadows.

At this stage, the buds have fully grown and opened, this is one of the works in this series that I am most satisfied with, but I still think that it would be better if the painting can paint the shadow level, I will learn how to paint the shadow in the future, so that the works look more vitality.
