The Way of St. James Association in Russia

Design of a simple logo but at the same time with a great symbolism for the Association.

After a recent impulse from the Association of the Way of St. James in Russia, its leaders contacted the studio to ask us to design the logo of the association. They explained to us the idea they had and that they were looking for something simple but full of symbolism.

Finally, we proposed a design that includes a scallop, so recognizable as a symbol of the Camino de Santiago, on which we superimposed the letters як and present in the Russian word for Santiago (Iakob in Russian) and we crowned it with an orthodox cross, usual in Russia.
